Dr. David Zvi Kalman

  • Rabbi Jordie Gerson is the Rabbi of Greenwich Reform Synagogue in Greenwich, CT, and in the past, served as a Hillel Rabbi at Yale and New York Universities. Rabbi Gerson is also an accomplished writer and speaker, with work has published in outlets like the Harvard Divinity Bulletin, Tablet Magazine, The Forward, Jewcy, The Huffington Post, and My Jewish Learning. Rabbi Gerson received her ordination from HUC-JIR in New York City and holds a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School.

  • Rabbi Kaye’s experience includes education, programming, and filmmaking spanning from Sesame Workshop to congregational work. As a rabbi she encourages people to approach their spiritual lives in sophisticated ways, and to find the best way to tell their own story.

  • Dr. David Zvi Kalman is a research fellow in the Shalom Hartman Institute’s Kogod Research Center. He is a scholar, writer, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of technology, religion, and art. In addition to his work at the Shalom Hartman Institute, he has held research and consulting roles at Sinai and Synapses and the Sapir Institute. He is the owner of Print-O-Craft Press, an independent publishing house that has released books including Jessica Deutsch’s The Illustrated Pirkei Avot and Noam Sienna’s A Rainbow Thread: An Anthology of Queer Jewish Texts from the First Century to 1969. He has been widely published in both academic and popular publications. David Zvi holds a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Toronto.   • Rabbi Eli Herscher’s inspiring career spanned four decades at Stephen Wise Temple in Los Angeles, years of extraordinary growth, not only in numbers, but in the Temple’s richness of spiritual and educational program.  Throughout the decades, Eli blessed the congregation with his depth of vision, his inspired teaching, his love of Israel and the Jewish People.  He was named Senior Rabbi Emeritus in 2015.

  • Micah Parness is a senior in high school based in Atlanta, GA. He has been passionate about media and the arts since a very young age and has worked on numerous projects that combine design with brand identity. Micah is a vital part of the Joseph’s Inkwell team, managing our social media presence.
